BIOGRAFIA

Scrittrice, fotografa umanitaria e viaggiatrice in solitaria . Attivista per i diritti umani dei popoli indigeni, è membro adottivo della tribù Crow, in Montana. Presidente della Omnibus Omnes Onlus. Titolare alla Europrinters Consulting. Membro del Lions Club Ascoli Host. Redattore a Il Mascalzone. Attualmente iscritta alla Facoltà di Scienze Sociali alla Unicam di Camerino.

Dice Raffaella Milandri : "Viaggiare non vuol dire visitare luoghi, ma percepire l'animo dei popoli". Come viaggiatrice solitaria è stata accolta da tribù nei più remoti angoli di mondo. Dice di sè: “Amo le persone semplici, e sono fiera di essere una di loro”.

La Milandri si dedica alla scrittura, alla fotografia e ai reportage, intesi come strumento di sensibilizzazione e divulgazione sul tema dei diritti umani e delle problematiche sociali, attraverso campagne di informazione, appelli, petizioni e conferenze, e diffondendo filmati, libri e interviste su media e social network. Varie le partecipazioni televisive e radiofoniche in Italia, numerosi gli articoli sui suoi viaggi, su quotidiani e riviste. Tra le mete dei suoi viaggi, ricordiamo la Papua Nuova Guinea, l'Alaska, il deserto del Kalahari,

il Tibet, il Kimberly in Australia. Tra i Popoli Indigeni oggetto delle sue campagne per i diritti umani, i Nativi Americani, i Pigmei, i Boscimani, gli Adivasi dell'Orissa.

Writer, humanitarian photographer and solo traveller. Activist for human rights of Indigenous People, she is an adopted member of the Crow tribe, Montana. President at Omnibus Omnes Association. Owner at Europrinters Consulting. Member of Ascoli Host Lions Club. Editor at Il Mascalzone. Currently enrolled at Social Science Department, at the University of Camerino. "Travelling is not merely a matter of visiting places, but also of perceiving the spirit of a people", says Raffaella Milandri. As a solo-traveller she has been welcomed by native tribes of the most remote corners of the world. About herself she says: “I love simple people, and I’m proud to be one of them”. Milandri uses her writing, photography and reporting to inform and to promote awareness of human rights themes and of social issues, through information campaigns, pleas, petitions and conferences, and spreading film clips, books and interviews on media and social networks.
She has participated in various Italian TV and radio programmes, and numerous articles on her travels have appeared in newspapers and magazines.
